Refund policy

There is nothing to buy yet
A search engine over transcripts of publicly available online video. We generate text transcripts, index them, and return timestamped links that send the user to the video on the third-party site that hosts it. We do not produce, host, or serve video. The service is free to use. We take no payments, we hold no card details, and there is nothing to sign up for — so at present there is nothing that can be refunded.
We would rather publish that plainly than publish a refund policy for a product that does not exist.
If you have been charged
Then something has gone wrong, or a charge you are looking at is not ours. Write to us through the contact page with the date and amount and we will investigate and refund anything we took. We will not ask you for card details in order to do that, and you should not send them to us.
When there is something to buy
If a paid feature is ever offered, this page will carry the full policy before the first charge rather than after it, and will answer at least:
- the refund window, and what qualifies within it;
- how to request a refund, and what we need from you;
- how long a refund takes to reach you once approved;
- how any unused credit or balance is handled, including whether it expires and what happens to it on a refund;
- how billing disputes are handled, and how to reach a person about one.
This section is pending final review. The terms above depend on pricing that has not been decided, so no window, turnaround or credit rule is stated here yet. Nothing is charged in the meantime. Last updated 8 August 2026.
